I'm Joe, I'm a computer science student from Peterborough interested and focused on GNU/Linux and programming. I am proud to have self-taught myself a bunch of languages and tikks, and to have applied my skills on various projects. I have also begun to teach myself the fundamentals of HTML/CSS by making this very site! By making this site, I aim to motivate myself to keep learning and to help those who might use my stuff know a little about who I am. My interests are playing around in GNU/Linux and creating nifty little scripts and programs in my spare time. You may notice this site changes a lot when I realise how dumb what I write sounds, I'm working on that though ;)
Currently, I am trying to learn about roguelike development using C++ and libtcod.
If you are interested in viewing my resumé, please feel free to email me.
My main language, and the one I have the most experiece in is C#. I have made a bunch of GUI programs with C# and .NET framework/.NET core and I use mono now and again for Linux stuff.
The second languages I have the most experience in are C++ and C. I have a number of applications and libraries using these langauges on my GitHub
GNU/Linux and Shell Scripting
I use the Void Linux distribution as my daily OS for just about anything. I tend to tinker a lot with it. I also have a a fair few shell applications I have made available on my GitHub as well as my dotfiles (with a nifty installer!).
Whenever I make something, I will use git so I can synchronise progress between my devices. Pretty self-explanatory.
I created this site in order to learn a little about HTML/CSS. This is about the extent of my web dev abilities.
